CONGRATULATIONS to Team Sweden - 2nd place in the Wissa Long Distance Kiting World Championship! Simon Jaktlund and Richard Wernersson crossed the finishing line at 17:54 today, 2 hours and 3 minutes after Team Windytv Alpboys. The motivation and sportsmanship this team shows is remarkable. We know they had a tough morning and this silver medal is very well deserved. Go Sweden!

Team Sweden was #8 after Ragguvidda and #7 at Stjernevann. They had an impressive climb after Stjernevann and kept the 2nd position all the way to the end.
When Team Sweden won VAKE in 2014, they also crossed the finish line walking. Back then, we had 25 m/s blowing across the last leg so the choice was theirs. Our guess is that they're even happier right now! Even with the silver :)
